MERVYN DAVIES IS GUEST SPEAKER AT WHITES DINNER 01 May 2010

It's with great pleasure that Swansea Rugby Club can announce that Lions, Wales, Barbarians and All Whites great, Mervyn Davies has accepted an offer to be the Guest Speaker at the Patron Supporters' Annual Dinner.

The Annual event which in recent seasons has incorprated the Players Awards, will be held on Friday 21st May in the St Helens Lounge. The event is always very well attended and supporters wishing to reserve a place should contact the Club on 01792 424242. Tickets are just £25 a head and should be reserved promptly, especially group tickets.

After a stormy ride over recent seasons, this current campaign has seen the most consistant of performances and results from The Whites for some time with our highest finish in the Premiership only tinged with regret for not ending in 1st place. This in itself is a measure of the great improvement achieved. With Swansea Schools lifting the Dewar Shield and the U11s currently in the Semi Final stages of the D C Thomas Cup, there's much to be pleased about at St Helens and the Annual Dinner will reflect this optimism. So join in the end of season event at St Helens and cheer the boys on tomorrow against Cardiff.
